Rasi Showroom is a Milano based fashion company specializing in strategic distribution placement and brand development in the field of kidswear, searching the world for talented emerging designers for its premium portfolio of customers. With a diverse and product-driven selection of collections Rasi Showroom has established itself as an important voice within the childrenswear fashion industry since the 70’s. The goal is to provide the market with contemporary and fresh products able to inject creativity and uniqueness in the stores – products always designed and thought exclusively for kids.

Heritage
  • 1970
    The Showroom is founded by Raffaele and Elena Rasi, inspired by the passion both for fashion and children together with the desire to bring new ideas in the market.

       

  • 1975
    The company moves into its actual site in Milano, Piazza Giulio Cesare, 8. Located in a central position, easily reachable by all means of transports, this showcase stands out for its classic architectural space and provide the right framework to exhibit the brand selection. This year sees the birth of the first Pitti Immagine Bimbo, that twice a year will become the appointment not to be missed for buyers all over the world.

       

  • 1980
    The company made a significant step forward deciding to cover the all Italian market from Milano, distinguishing itself from the common strategy held at those times. European brands started to look with interest at this new approach.

       

  • 1984
    At the Paris fashion fair of Mode Enfanteen was held the first meeting with Marieke and Willem Olsthoorn founder of OILILY – a dutch-brand that was literally revolutionizing the childrenswear market, being an hallmark of creativity in the cupboard of children since 1963.

       

  • 1985 - 2005
    Virtuoso use of color, spectacular combinations of materials, unique blend of cultural influences, humorous details and high quality has brought Oilily a multitude of fans around the world – many of them in Italy – bringing more than 230 of the best multi-brand stores to embrace its philosophy and carry its products.

       

  • 1990
    Sir Paul Smith created his first children's collection – bringing its genuine sense of humour and mischief mixed with his love of tradition and the classics into the kids market. The distribution of this new project was entrusted to the Rasi Showroom for the coming 10 years, when the collection was stopped due to the workload of the adults collections.

       

  • 1996
    Jottum by Anky Groothof & Quincy by Anouk Robyn – 2 different collections both born by the strong character and deep skills of their creator were added to the portfolio, helping to create year after year a unique blend of products.

       

  • 2000
    The new century brought new energy and resources into the team and a great effort on communication, pr activity and a close eye to the web to reinforce the relationship with customers and brands.

       

  • 2006 - 2008
    Douuod by Patrizia Boscherini and Elisabetta Mambelli enriched the brand’s selection – opening a completely new chapter in kids fashion with their minimal and clean style and neutral colors so uncommon for the little ones. While Babe&Tess by Paola Mazzochin brought a romantic and dreamy mood with its essentiality and simplicity, its deep research on fabric and special hand of dyes, that create a noticeable style.

       

  • 2011
    First in-house shooting & video were held with a creative team of young graduate at IED – Milano. More and more attention to visual and communication together with the desire to support at best the customers turn it into a regular appointment of the Showroom in the following years.

       

  • 2012
    The globalization of the market and the ever-present passion for travel has led to cross national borders and begin a dialogue with International customers and partners.

       

  • 2014
    Launch of the new website.

We try to help our far-away customers in all the way we can – so we offer a full service of on-line ordering – with exhaustive catalogue – nice pictures – set proposal. We inform about best seller and we try to support the ordering process to make it easier and quick. We also have young and dedicated international staff that can make the communication process smooth.
